Paul did not receive his apostleship from man, but from Christ. So, He (Christ) is not man.
(Galatians 1:1)“Paul, an apostle,(not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead…”
The gospel Paul preached did not come from man, but by the revelation of Christ.Christ is not man.
(Galatians 1:10-12)“For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.”
Worship of anybody who is not God is idolatry.
(Galatians 4:8)“Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.”
It is God the Father who commanded that Christ be worshiped.
(Hebrews 1:5-6)“For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?And again, when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.”
(1 Peter 3:15)“Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if you are asked about your Christian hope, always be ready to explain it.” NLT
All men have sinned.Christ did not.
(Romans 3:23)“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God…”
(1 Kings 8:46)“If they sin against thee,(for there is no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near…”
There is not a just man on earth that sin not.
(Ecclesiastes 7:20)“For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.”
Christ did not sin.
(John 8:46)“Which of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me?” RSV
(1 Peter 2:22)“Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth…”
(Romans 3:4)“God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”
No man hath seen God.
(John 1:18)“No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”
But Christ has seen Him.
(John 8:38)“I speak that which I have seen with my Father:and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.”
Man came from the dust of the ground.
(Genesis 2:7)“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”
Christ came from above — from God.
(John 6:38)“For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.”
(John 13:3)“Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God…”
Christ can see the heart and the mind; Man can not.
(Matthew 23:37)“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!for ye are like unto whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of deadmen’s bones, and of all uncleanness.”
(Jeremiah 17:9-10)“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?I the LORD search the heart,I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.”
Christ directly talks to the Father; Man can not.
(John 17:5)“And now,O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”
(John 12:28)“Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.”
(Jeremiah 30:21)“And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? saith the LORD.”
Christ has life in Him; can give and take it away.
(John 10:17-18)“Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself.I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.”
Man has not power over death.Christ has.
(Ecclesiastes 8:8)“There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.”
(John 11:25)“Jesus said unto her,I am the resurrection, and the life:he that believeth in me,though he were dead, yet shall he live…”
Christ came from eternity.
(Micah 5:2)“But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.”
