“To be godly is to learn how to love a person regardless of color, height and physical appearance! After all we are all equal beyond the skin. We were made by one God,” wrote Bro. Eli in his new article published on September 24 this year.
Titled “Black Skin, Flat Nose, & Thick Lips? But We Are All Brothers!,” which can be read via controversyextraordinary.com, Bro. Eli belied the long-standing atheistic theoretical foundation from the late 1800s that humans ‘evolved’ from apes.
In the new blog, the radio-television host and webcaster pointed the biblical record of the origin of the human race against the traditional and cultural biases, as well as long-held religious doctrines of other groups.
Science and the Bible
Genesis 3:20 reads, “And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.” When it comes to man’s origin, the multi-awarded Filipino televangelist has put his foot down in opposition of anything or anyone that says otherwise. Now backed by competent scientific researches that proved the same, Bro. Eli said, “under our skin, we are all biological brothers and sisters.”
He cited Wynne Perry’s article from LiveScience.com, “Age Confirmed for Eve, Mother of All Humans (2010),” which explains how findings from mitochondrial DNA prove that all humans come from the same maternal ancestor counting hundreds of thousand years back.
Perry’s zeroes in on one of several scientific discoveries that at least prove that despite racial physical differences, humanity come from but one origin.
Another source cited by Bro. Eli proves that climate is responsible for the differences in the nose’s shapes to allow for better human adaptation.
The 2016 report by Emily DeMarco of Inside Science featured a study previously published in the American Journal of Physical Anthropology that explains how a “wider” nose shape suits “wet” and “hot” environments to better cool the brain, while the opposite is needed to “warm” the air in cold environments.
Feeling of Superiority and Being Discriminatory is Evil
“To practice then discrimination is evil.” Bro. Eli concluded that all biblical facts are also scientifically true. He strongly argued that it is wrong and futile to discriminate because we are all brothers and sisters.
Meanwhile, the practice of disfavoring one race over another is rampant in the U.S. where a majority of citizens are of the white community. The backward ideation of some groups even have a foundation in religious perspective.
Bro. Eli noted that the Mormons or members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints wrongly believe that sin had caused the fate of a person to be born black, as specified in the book of Mormons.
“God is not a respecter of the physical being of a person,” Bro. Eli wrote, quoting the Bible in the book of Romans 2:11. And he concluded, “To be godly is to learn how to love a person regardless of color, height and physical appearance!”
Meanwhile, he added that while Americans may be superior in terms of “arms” and “technology” and the like, their racial background does not make them superior than those who others regard as “uglier” people of the world.
