Prophecies Fulfilled
In the Bible, it is prophesied that there will be a nation which God will save in the east country. This nation will come from a group which will divide in three parts. Zachariah 13:8 says – “And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein” (KJV).
Indeed, the church which Perez previously led split into three parts. Two parts eventually, as prophesied, perished. Of the third part, as it is written in the succeeding verse, God said – “And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God” (KJV).
This prophecy that the nation of God divided into three parts took place neither in the history of Israel nor with the first century Christians. Only the subsequent events that consummated in the church which Perez led coincided with these events.
Another parallel prophecy about the people whom God shall choose in the last days was recorded in Isaiah 3:12 which says – “As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths” (KJV).
Exactly as prophesied, the church which Perez previously led divided into such groups: the first group led by women; the second group composed mostly of people in their early 20’s, and the third group composed of elders.
